Patrick Carroll

Patrick Carroll was born in Bathurst, New South Wales in 1949 and has been a professional, full-time artist since 1974.

The artist’s style can be described as ‘contemporary realism’ however what makes Patrick unique is his desire to incorporate expressionism into his realistic artworks, creating an energetic and immersive effect on the viewer.
Thus it can be said that Patrick Carroll is one of the great Australian artist’s who synthesises abstract elements into reality.

Patrick’s work is held in numerous collections in Australia, UK, Japan, USA, Europe and New Zealand and the artist has won over 100 Awards and Commendations since 1965, holding over 35 solo exhibitions to date.
